Hey All,

More shipments are rolling in!

We've got the remote control boards now, as well as the Bluetooth boards. The Explorer Boards are in testing now and should ship soon.

Also - very exciting news - I've received word that 1350 Flutter Basic boards have shipped out to me, with another few hundred shipping out shortly. The Pro boards have begun manufacturing and I expect to receive some photos of samples this week.

Once the Basic boards arrive I will be able to begin shipments!

Hey Flutter fans,

I have some updates on the state of the manufacturing run:

We have received all 2840 of the Breakout Kits we ordered, as well as all the lithium batteries for kits that get those (pictures below).

The bluetooth boards are done being manufactured and will ship out to me soon.

The original plan was not for these things to ship to me, as last time Seeed drop-shipped every package to the end customer. I have learned that they recently stopped offering this service, so I will need to ship everything myself. This will introduce some delay in delivery I did not foresee, but I will do what I can to move things in a timely fashion.

I have not heard back on the status of the LEDs, which are holding up production of the main boards. I have asked again for clarification and will update everyone when I know more.

Hello backers!

Just a quick update again to keep you all apprised of the latest progress.

I have been working with the Seeed Studio (the factory) to answer a few more questions. Still awaiting delivery dates. It looks like we had a little confusion on the order with the sourcing of the LED and the dome buttons for the Basic and Pro boards, but that is being sorted out.

As soon as I have updated delivery dates I will post another update.

I also updated the CAD files for Scout, as the repository was missing a couple of clips and a small gear.

Manufacturing Update

Hello everyone,

Seeed has begun manufacturing the Breakout boards and Basic boards. I cleared up some confusion for them on the Pro, Explorer, and Bluetooth boards today, so those should enter production soon. I'm still waiting back to hear from them on the Joystick boards. The Network Shield is delayed and will come in a separate shipment.

The Basic boards are currently slated to be done January 18th, with the Breakouts done sooner. I will update with shipping information in January when I have information on the Pros.

Hey everyone!

Time for another Flutter update.

Over the past few weeks I have updated all the manufacturing files, and sent the final set of files to China last weekend. I had hoped to do this earlier, but it means that things are out of my hands for now and they should begin shipping things in 8 weeks.

If you haven't updated your address in backerkit, please do! Over the next few weeks my task is to organize all the addresses and get things prepped for shipment, so make sure your address is correct! Just go to flutterwireless.backerkit.com and log in. I appreciate your patience. My life has changed a lot since I worked on this full time and I had to take some time off from Flutter for a while to focus on myself. I am finding a balance again however and look forward to delivering this product and finding a vendor to take over deliveries after this big shipment. I love this product and I love all of you for hanging in there while I figure this all out.
